WINTER SPRINGS, Florida (June 11, 2024) – Andre Klass, founder and executive director of the local non-profit organization Christian Tech Center Ministries, was recently honored by the City of Winter Springs in recognition of his charitable efforts and impacts benefitting vulnerable populations in the Central Florida community.

During the June 10 city commission meeting, Klass was given a special proclamation by Mayor Kevin McCann, to much fanfare from the the attending public. Commissioners Matt Benton, Victoria Bruce, Cade Resnick, and Rob Elliott were also present to commemorate the occasion. Also joining Klass at the meeting was Christian Tech Center Ministries’ board member Michael Radka.

“We have a wonderful community, we watch out for each other, and we do really good work,” said Kevin McCann, Mayor of the City of Winter Springs. “With that, I’d like to recognize Andre Klass and the Christian Tech Center Ministries for their work in the senior center and the computer donations.”

In May of 2024, Christian Tech Center Ministries replaced all of the equipment in the city’s senior center computer labs with modern updated equipment, facilitating essential resources and services to the elderly population throughout the city.

“I am grateful to be here to continue to work together for the benefit of our community,” said Andre Klass, founder and executive director of Christian Tech Center Ministries. “It is a privilege and a joy to be able to do what we do from sun-up to sun-down, making impacts across the board for those young and old, and whenever a need comes to me, we don’t hesitate, we just jump in to make it happen. We cherish this opportunity to be of service as we glorify the name of Jesus Christ, to share his love and make a difference, and be a light for our fellow citizens.”

Since launching in 2022, Christian Tech Center Ministries has already given away over 1,300 free computers to underprivileged families and other nonprofit organizations, and performed a large amount of complimentary repair services and technology workshops. The organization is currently preparing for several more significant projects including upcoming back-to-school distributions for the 2024-2025 school year.
